As Technical Lead, you’ll ideally have a number of years of experience in a similar leadership role, coupled with strong, hands-on technical ability with embedded software (ideally using Java, Android, and possibly C++).
We’re a fast-paced, customer-focused consulting busiess, so you’ll need to be instinctively hard-wired to innovate, communicate and lead by example in all that you do; providing a first class service to your team and a wide variety of customer stakeholders.
You’ll remotely support one of our technical teams based in Wroclaw, Poland; attending regular scrum meetings and providing day-to-day support and mentoring for team members. The time difference means that these meetings often happen early – around 6am Pacific Time – so you’ll need to be flexible in your approach to work and time management.
You’ll spend most of the day working on-site with the customer, meaning that communication and relationship-building are of paramount importance in this role. As a key customer liaison, you’ll need to excel at explaining complex ideas and issues, as well as documenting highly technical projects, systems and solutions, for both internal and external use.
A key member of our US-based team, you’ll drive the technical direction of projects for a new generation of streaming TV products in an Agile environment. This will involve working with developers, system engineers, architects, testers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of a project from a technical perspective.

Please note: Due to the nature of this role, there will be regular travel to meetings at the customer’s LA site (0.7 miles away) and occasional travel to other global Red Embedded offices
